COMMUNITY, TRUTH, PROGRESSION, PLAY, INDIVIDUALISM
Our studio manifesto outlines our mission statement for how and why we operate. We all teach a little bit differently, which is what makes our course selection unique and amazing, but work to promote the same goals to create a consistency across classes and leave you with the confidence that you are getting the Pole & Dance experience.
By stepping through the doors at a Pole & Dance studio you aren’t just taking a fitness class, you are joining a community. As students, we grow together – uplifting each other with encouragement and unconditional support. We practice our art according to five essential values.
We learn from one another, sharing abundantly with the knowledge that we grow with each other.
We observe and learn from one another, trusting that our differences and diversity create strength and beauty.
We speak of ourselves with respect, celebrating the grace and power that our bodies and minds give us.
We delight in a curious exploration of movement, embracing the pure enjoyment of dance.
By working with where our bodies are at right now, we build the foundations that will allow us to perform even more gracefully and precisely tomorrow.
Our studio is over 4700 sq ft with a variety of spaces for classes and spending time in.
Our studio includes a main pole space for pole tricks classes, a second pole studio, Studio Dark, for pole choreography and Russian Exotic classes, a six point aerial space measuring 40 feet long and covered in gymnastics mats, a private flexibility room, a private pole room, a living room waiting area, a retail space, a curtained off changing area and a handstands space.
Our poles are 14 feet Platinum Stages 45mm stainless steel poles and our aerial points also stand 14 feet high using a custom built rigging pulley system developed and implemented by Stefan of the renowned Trapeze Arts.
To get into the building, scroll backwards on the callbox until you see “SF Pole & Dance” and we’ll buzz you in. Once you’ve been buzzed in, take the elevator up to the 2nd floor. Walk all the way down to the end of the hall to your left.
